Week #58 - Chennai - "Here I go again on my own..."

Ummm so sorry I literally have no time to write this but big news. I got transferred again. At this point I am not even surprised. Anyway I am now in Vijaywada with Elder Pupala who was a YSA who went around with me when I was in Kakinada. More on him next week.

I sent a bunch of pictures this week and you know they say pictures are worth a thousand words so this should be my longest email yet ;)

Week #57 - Chennai - "Just sit in the corner and read"

Haha so in church this week when Elder Rogers and I walked into a classroom for second hour the teacher looked up at us and said, "ah Elders you have a phone yes? Ok ok we are discussing this talk from the last general conference. You can read it and I will teach the rest of the class in Tamil." I found this hilarious because it is what I do every week but this time the teacher acknowledged that it was happening.

Well this week we had less rain and more cycling. I went on an exchange with Elder Ostler so he could show me a referral from a member in his branch. We ended up cycling 22 miles, which is not a lot to any of you who ride a bicycle for fun or exercise, but this is the farthest I have had to cycle on my mission and it was actually a lot of fun.

Anyway a lot of the people we are teaching are only available on sundays but everytime sunday rolls around suddenly they arent available. So we spent the weekdays this week finding more homes of members in our area and avoiding the giant statues of Ganesh that are all over the place.

Anyway until next week,
Elder Williams
