Week #49 - Gajuwaka - "Welcome to the Himalayas!"

What? They're Lemon!

Don't know why that movie came into my head, but it's a good one so I won't complain.

Well this week I got to meet Elder Wilson's family and have dinner with them. That was a great experience to share a little about their sons mission with them. They are now going to Bangalore to meet up with Elder Wilson since he finishes his mission in 2 days. They just came to India a week early to see more of India.

Well on Tuesday this last week we went to a members home who I haven't met before but my companion met them the last time he was in Vizag so we went and had a good appointment. At the end they asked us to give a blessing to the mother of the family and then proceeded to have us give a blessing to every member of the family down to the 10 year old kid who was there. It turned into quite the number of blessings. Surely the most I have done in one day.

We have been meeting with a lot of members this last week and we have some more to meet with this week. Some of those that we have met with haven't had missionaries come to their home in a long time so many of them are really happy when we come. The easiest way to learn names is to be in their home and talk with them for some time.

We had our first zone conference with our new mission president and we had our first interviews with him. President Thomas gave a great conference and I think he will be really good for India. He gave a really good conference that answered many questions that I had. Zone conference can be really good on the mission if you go into as you would before general conference. With questions and a desire for the answers.

Well that was this week,
Elder Williams
